Time for a change!
So I now know that there is more people in slavery now, than there has ever been in history…woah. That is more slaves than those whom built the Pyramids or the Great Wall of China, and unlike those slaves, the people whom lack their right of Freedom today and tomorrow can’t look back and say ‘yeah I helped build that’! No, the slaves of today at least 1.4million out of 27million! are sex slaves, all they can say is that they were raped a few hundred times and beaten almost to death, then dumped and discarded like trash.
Now lets go back 1.4 million people being trafficed around the world, so lets do the maths, that is one point four million 1’s, 1.4 million lives and souls being destroyed. Now only 1% of these persons are rescued, so thats bout 14,000 people… you might be like thats a big number, nope lets put it in perspective, I live in Nowra, that has a population of approximately 33,000 people so almost half the entire population of nowra is rescued from slavery where the other majority are still enslaved.
Lets break it down again, 800,000 of the 1.4million are females, so that is 800,000 Sisters, Daughters, Mums, Cousins, Nieces and friends that are kidnapped/abducted from an even greater number of families, relatives and friends, whom are in agony and without knowledge of those whom they love and care about.
So it is about time we need to speak up for those whom are silenced and cannot cry out for help. Our world is in agony, we need to open our eyes and see and confront the hurt that surrounds us, we need to start mending and healing and Saving those around us, for it is time for a change!
